The CMA CGM Group launched in 2020 a new excellence program in maritime transport. A real springboard for your career within the Group, this work-study program will allow you to discover the world of maritime transport through immersion in the heart of trades and qualifying training within our corporate university.

The objective is to integrate and train our future employees in key Group jobs, alternating with a training period at our corporate university CMA CGM ACADEMY (pace: 3 weeks on the job / 1 week on training).

Thanks to this program, you learn to build a transport offer, organize and follow a transit operation and provide customer service in the context of transport operations. This program is fully funded by the company and will take the form of a 12-month apprenticeship contract. Throughout your year, you will be accompanied by expert trainers and dedicated tutors who will ensure the development of your skills and prepare you for certification.

MISSION

Under the responsibility of the Cargo flows coordinator, you participate in the optimization of the physical allocations of the ships of your shipping Line.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You participate in controlling the filling of ships by analyzing the bookings and loading forecasts for the coming weeks.

In this way, you can anticipate occupancy rates by proposing specific actions, and by alerting the line sales representatives, agents in the field and teams dedicated to ship layover operations.

In addition, you participate in the transmission of instructions on allocations, data related to the rotation of the Line as well as on the modifications made between the Sales department, the Cargo Flow of other Lines, Operations department and agents.

In agreement with your Management and in relation to the departments of sales and operations, you ensure the optimal distribution of the volumes available on the ships and control the route of the goods.

You also collaborate in sharing loading forecasts and verifying allocations with the different partners, and alert your Manager and team in the event of over or under use of the CMA-CGM allocation. Finally, you will contribute to the production of statistics by port of loading and final destination weekly, monthly and annually.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Recently graduated from a Bachelor degree(Bac+3) you have already completed an internship in the same field, ideally abroad. You are perfectly fluent in French and English and you have a very good command of IT and office automation tools, especially Excel, and handle the encrypted data with agility.

Your interpersonal skills, your sense of anticipation, your reactivity and your analytical skills will allow you to successfully carry out the missions of this position.

You know how to adapt quickly and bounce back in order to manage operational priorities and respond as best as possible to emergency situations.
