The Solutions Area Stratey Manager (SASM) for Datacenters will play a pivotal role within the Group Portfolio organization with the described key responsibilities. Operating within a matrixed structure, the SASM reports to the Group Portfolio Strategy Director while closely aligning with the Solution Area Strategy Director, who oversees the Solution Area's outputs. Beyond these core functions, the SASM collaborates extensively across Service Lines, Solution Areas, Portfolio Marketing team, and with pivotal stakeholders to ensure our offerings are impactful, viable, and lucrative.

**What you’ll do**

Solution Area Strategy Development:

- Entrusted with shaping the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Solution Area, the SASSM ensures alignment with Computacenter's overarching business objectives.
- Define the Group Solution Area Strategy with the support of the Solution Area Director.
- Engage in the Solution Area Steering Board, understanding country unit visions, and incorporating them into the group strategy.
- Deliver thought leadership on topics like market trends, new technologies, and customer challenges.

Solution Group Leadership & Product Management:

- The SASSM leads Working Groups tied to Solution Groups, championing governance through effective communication, teamwork, and alignment with evolving market needs and customer preferences.
- Act as a technology leader and domain expert for both the internal business and external customers.
- Collaborate with other Solution Area Strategy Managers, especially on multi-Solution Area offerings.
- Promote services within the Solution Area and support sales teams across Group and country business units.
- Assist country business units to enhance growth and incubate new Service Offerings.
- Ensure each Working Group has a defined Business Plan for the profitable growth of services and solutions and gather strategic input from the members.
- Considers the opportunity for Computacenter across each of the three Service Lines, with the intent to create integrated and aligned solutions aligned to the Solution Area Strategy
- Contribute to Service Offerings' development, especially when delegated from a Service Line.
- Offer insights to Marketing Managers to create compelling solution offering content.
- Prepare and present Service Development proposals to the Solution Area Steering Board.
- Work with Group Partner Management to maintain relationships with key vendor partners.
- Communicate strategies to key stakeholders, gathering feedback for improvements.
- Maintain the Technology Radar for the Solution Area.
- Respond to Analyst submission requests and present content in briefing sessions

**What you’ll need**
- Strong technical and commercial understanding of the Solution Area technology domain
- Proven track record of working within the technology domain, preferably with Enterprise customers.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Strong presentation skills, both technical and commercial
- Experience of working in a highly matrixed organisation
- Strong stakeholder management to include C-level
- Experience of working within an enterprise sales organisation
