**Position Overview**:As a Finance Intern/Apprentice within the Financial Performance team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in data analysis efforts to monitor and enhance the performance of our company. This role is ideal for an individual with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing financial and operational data to support performance monitoring and improvement initiatives.
- Utilize Excel and any other appropriate tools to create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide insights into key performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for performance enhancement.
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven processes to optimize financial and operational performance.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to discussions on performance analysis and improvement strategies.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and management.
**Qualifications**:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Relevant past internship experience is clear plus (eg. controlling, transaction services, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other data analysis software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French. German, Spanish or Italian are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude with a passion for data analysis and performance improvement.
