**The role**

We are looking for a highly motivated Relocation Manager _**(Strong expertise in HHG is mandatory - additional expertise in DSP/relocation services would be a +).**_

The Relocation Manager is primarily responsible for managing the relocation services of our client’s assignees globally. The Relocation Manager is the single point of coordination for our client’s relocation assignee providing them with an extraordinary level of support and service. While we have a robust operational guide that each Relocation Manager needs to follow, we do encourage Relocation Managers to think outside of the box and find solutions to any issues that might arise. Moving countries or location within a country can be a very stressful time for assignees and their families. It is therefore important that we do not just adopt a one service fits all approach to service delivery but ensure that each relocation exceeds the expectation of both the assignee and our client.

**Main duties and responsibilities**

To act as the single point of accountability for assignees(employee relocating to another destination to work) and the client HR/Mobility Team throughout the relocation process (end to end), across various services including
- Household Goods Shipment.
- Conducting access checks - surveys and quality controls
- Sourcing and booking temporary accommodation.
- School search.
- Area orientation.
- Home finding assistance.
- Settling in and tenancy review.
- Initiating language and culture training.
- Expense Management
- Departures services.
- Client specific services

**Household Goods Shipment**
- Act as the single point of accountability for all phases of the shipping process
- Work with our list of Global Approved Partners, and International partners to ensure that our services are delivered as per the company’s standards
- Manage moves in line with our ‘ONE VOICE’ guide and following up with assignees, crews, agents, freight brokers and associated approved partners
- Liaise with K2 offices globally to ensure alignment and smooth transition from one region to the next
- Prepare all necessary documentation and liaise with all the involved parties (Internal/External) throughout the shipment process
- Monitor insurance requirements, including High Value items and ensure appropriate cover is always in place
- Management of both long
- and short-term storage of goods
- Ensure that all billing (reclaiming of any charges to the client) is processed in a timely manner
- Managing and assisting with insurance claims

**Relocation services**

**Outside of France**
- Be the single point of accountability and coordination for these services.
- Coordinate the home, orientation, settling in & school search days by liaising and managing a local partner to ensure smooth delivery of the service.
- Arranging payment of all associated costs and billing of the client.
- Arranging payment of any assignee costs in relation to their relocation.

**Within France**
- Manage expectations of assignee regarding area, commute, and lifestyle
- Negotiate leases with local agents and landlords
- Arranging payments of deposits where required, in line with the client’s policies.
- Ensure that all billing (reclaiming of any charges to the client) is processed in a timely manner
- Serving notice on behalf of the client and assignee as per the agreement/advising on correct notice periods or negotiating early termination and minimising fees
- Arranging the end of tenancy cleaning and organising inventory check-outs
- Negotiating deposit disputes until a mutual agreement can be rea
