Regional Reliability Manager Emea

Cabot has an exciting opportunity for the Regional Reliability Manager who will play a crucial role in driving Availability improvement and sustaining Reliability Excellence.

Provides strong leadership and technical expertise by fostering a culture of learning, teamwork, improvement, and innovation, by listening and working in partnership with the EMEA plants and Manufacturing Excellence Group (MEG) to drive performance for tomorrow and collaborate to deliver performance today.

We are seeking a fully qualified and experienced professional who a) drives Availability Improvement, b) provides Reliability, Maintenance and Turnaround execution process expertise, c) supports Global Engineering and Plants with Reliability and Maintenance Engineering Subject Matter Expertise (SME) for Projects and Modifications, and d) champions regional/global knowledge sharing and learning.

This position can be based at any of Cabot’s EMEA locations, with the flexibility to work hybrid.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

- Co-develop and drive delivery of Availability improvement Strategies and Plans in close cooperation with the Plants, and support / advise the Regional Director Manufacturing with the Value Creation strategy and yearly business planning process for Availability performance and Sustainment capital.
- Act as network connector and lead the EMEA Regional Reliability Network to support cross-learning / sharing of knowledge from RCA’s and/or (Global) Best Practices.
- Champion the development and Continuous Improvement of (Global) Reliability, Maintenance and Turnaround processes/tools and drive Reliability Engineering competency gap closure within the region by organizing/providing training and coaching.
- Facilitate and support plants with RCA investigations, co-ordination of SME, ensure a reliability/structured problem-solving mindset is included in the solution definition, ensure results/learnings are widely communicated within the global network and Cabot standards are updated if required.
- Support Global Engineering and/or Plants teams with Reliability and Maintenance Engineering SME for Projects and Modifications, based on Cabot Design, Safety and Maintenance standards and/or Global network Best Practices/Benchmarks.
- Support and drive the implementation of Digitization and Automation projects in the field of Predictive Maintenance and Asset Health Management, within the Carbon Black network of plants.

Vereisten:

- Must be able to visit all the regional plants and has experience in supporting a regional network of plants/locations.
- Skilled/Experienced in development and driving of Availability Improvement Strategies across a network of plants.
- Skilled/Experienced in Reliability & Maintenance Engineering-, Maintenance (and Turnaround) execution processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Digitization and Automation methodologies and tools for Predictive Maintenance/Asset Health Management, (Project) Engineering processes, Process Safety Management and LEAN / CI methodologies.
- Strong leadership: Has the ability to engage effectively and collaboratively across the organization to ensure the best outcomes
- Strong communication skills: Has the ability to engage in verbal and written communication that are direct, concise, clear and relevant and delivered in an appropriate manner
- Strong Influencing skills: Able to effectively influence others in different areas and levels of the organization without having direct line authority
- Results Driven: Demonstrates the determination, know-how and accountability for ensuring that results are achieved. Plans, organizes, prioritizes and monitors progress to ensure the attainment of business objectives.
- BSc. / MSc. degree preferred, with focus in a technical-/process engineering discipline and/or Asset Management desired.
- Minimum experience of 10 years in Reliability/Maintenance/Operational management and/or technical engineering role in a manufacturing environment preferably at a specialty chemicals and performance materials company.
