As a Paralegal / Legal Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fast moving Tegal team in various capacities. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, possesses a strong understanding of legal processes and operations, and is always interested in learning something new
**What you’ll do**:
- Assist managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating simple agreements such as NDAs and supplier agreements to executing and archiving different contracts.
- Assist managing corporate matters such as minutes, filings, ESOP grants, etc.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Streamlining and optimizing legal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement best practices and improve overall legal department operations.
- Stay informed about changes in local and international laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing and maintaining compliance programs.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including meeting coordination and document organization.
- Be in charge of legal tech and legal tools (implementation, run and maintenance), such as our contracts management system, in order to speed up our processes while ensuring a high level of risk management and controls, in line with our innovative approach of the legal function.
- Lead the knowledge management of the legal team.
**Who you are**:
- You have proven experience as a paralegal or legal operations specialist from a fast moving organization including contract management, corporate matters, etc.
- You have excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- You have Strong understanding of legal principles and procedures.
- You are proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
- You have experience and knowledge of contract management tools and systems.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- You are fluent and can work in both English and French.
