Role Overview

ENGIE is accelerating the energy transition, and we are looking for a **Business Development Project Manager** to play a key role in this journey.

You will support our Sales & Trading organization in **designing, structuring, and implementing new business initiatives** that help B2B clients decarbonize their energy mix while managing market risks.

From **renewable electricity and green gas** to **carbon reduction and offsetting services**, you will transform commercial opportunities into operational realities. Acting as a bridge between **front-office teams and enabling functions**, you will ensure the successful launch of innovative solutions that make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales & Trading to design and formalize **business plans for new client solutions** (green power, green gas, carbon products).
- Translate commercial ideas into **concrete roadmaps** with milestones, deliverables, and KPIs.
- Drive the **onboarding of new products, clients, or processes**, coordinating with Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and IT.
- Manage relationships with **external stakeholders** (exchanges, counterparties, service providers, regulators).
- Establish and lead **project governance** (steering committees, reporting, risk management).
- Act as the **central point of contact**, ensuring alignment between sponsors and enabling teams.
- Provide **clear, structured reporting** to senior management on project progress, risks, and achievements.

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- **3-6 years of experience** in business development, project management, or consulting within energy markets, financial trading, or commodities.
- Strong knowledge of **sales & trading processes** and their supporting functions.
- Familiarity with **energy transition products** (renewables, green gases, carbon solutions) is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to manage **complex, cross-functional projects** with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent **organization, analysis, and problem-solving** skills.
- Strong **communication and presentation** skills, with ease in engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency with **MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)**; knowledge of **project management methodologies** (Agile, Prince2, PMP) is a plus.
