**About Us**: Our company specializes in the development and manufacturing of high-quality metering products.
**Current Situation**: Following the departure of one of our team members, we are excited to invite an experienced Strategic Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Senior Head of Purchasing, this role is based in the town of Saint-Louis in the picturesque region of Haut-Rhin. You will lead a small, dedicated team focused on procuring plastic/resin parts.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of 3 buyers.
- Develop and implement a Category Purchasing strategy that meets the defined cost, supplier performance, risk management, and sustainability objectives.
- Identify and drive productivity improvement plans and engage in local audits of the France entity.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational management: gather and analyze requirements, source and manage the supplier panel, conduct consultations and negotiations, and finalize contracts.
- Collaborate daily with international and cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
**Other Details**:
- This position requires periodic travel.

**Who we are looking for**:
- An accomplished executive with training or specialization in Purchasing.

- Proven experience in project management.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
