**We are looking for an Efficiency Manager to join our team**
- In charge of Measuring, Animating and Improving Sustainable Materials Division Engineering
- Performance and Efficiency aligned with the Engineering Efficiency Manager of Interior System
- Setting a **Dashboard of KPIs** covering SMD Engineering Key Targets & Deliverables and
- animating it with the Engineering Functions and Regional Organizations
- Challenging status quo, she/he is proposing an **Efficiency Roadmap** to improve Engineering
- Performance through continuous improvement, as well as more disruptive action plans
- Taking Leadership, he/she is onboarding and coordinating the required stakeholders (internal
- or external to R&D and to SMD) to deliver our Roadmap, leading to **Leaner & agile & efficient**
- **Engineering Processes and Methodologies**

**You will work on challenges that matter**
- LEAN PROCESSES & METHODOLOGIES:

- Organize Lean Workshops with our R&D internal and external Partners in order to brainstorm, audit and improve our Key Engineering Processes & Methodologies for shorter time to market
- Rebuild from scratch a common aligned Process Standard as a Reference for continuous Improvement
- Decompose a studied Engineering Process into intermediate Process steps in a Flowchart
- Identify Inputs & Outputs of each Process steps
- Identify Non-Added Value in the overall Engineering Process- Define Key Engineering Processes and a governance and routine to follow their continuous improvement
- Support Project leaders in the implementation of this new process
- Participate as a support to Strategic Plan and Budget construction
- MEASURE and lead Reporting of SMD Engineering Performance & Efficiency:

- Propose a set of KPIs to measure Progress of the Key Engineering Indicators. Priorities need to be set to maximize Added Value while avoiding excessive reporting workload.
- Create Synergies with Digitalization and Data Management Teams as a supporting pillar to our Efficiency improvements and to the KPIs reporting Process itself.
- Propose a Governance for creating and animating the KPIs with the Engineering Functions (HR, Controlling, Advanced Engineering, operations, PL and sales) publishing a monthly status in the form of a scorecard
- ANALYZE & IMPROVE Engineering Performance & Efficiency:

- Benchmark our FIS Engineering to identify gaps with best-in-class similar Organizations (other BGs, competitors )
- Build a comprehensive picture of our improvement Levers from the various sources of information: KPIs, Benchmarking, feedback from the field
- Propose and validate a Roadmap, prioritizing improvement actions into a clear Strategic Vision supporting our Strategic Plan
- Onboard the required stakeholders to coordinate improvement actions to deliver our Roadmap
- Control and measure the outcome of our Action Plans, proposing adjustments in an Agile way where necessary
- Act as Engineering contact with external stakeholders to report SMD Engineering Data per their requests. A non-exhaustive list might include:

- Programs: High Priority Program List monthly KPIs (Validation Ratio, TTP )
- Group R&D: Cross-BG initiatives including the monthly ExCom KPIs, R&D Scorecard, R&D Footprint reporting.

**What if it was you?**
- Master’s bachelor’s degree in Engineering or significant professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in design within an industrial environment, preferably on automotive interior parts
- Propensity to challenge status quo and take ownership to drive change
- Ability to manage complexity, taking distance to identify the key levers in a complex environment
- Strong communication and leadership to onboard and convince a large range of stakeholders
- Able to work in a multicultural environment in diverse teams with a good team spirit
- English required
- Nice to have: Good understanding of Engineering Key Processes, Tools & Methodologies (CAD Design, Geometry, Tooling, Testing, PMS deliverables )
