As the Improve Plant Process Manager, you will be responsible for setting up, organizing, and executing the multi-year improvement plan to increase site capacity and efficiency. You will own and maintain the production recipe in our system. You will manage a team of process engineers, covering all the biotechnology expertise on site: microbiology, fermentation, filtration, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, chromatography, formulation, drying, and both solid and liquid packing. You will be in direct contact with the R&D organization and team to support process innovation and troubleshooting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contribute to the creation and execution of the manufacturing plan, ensuring alignment with the management team and continuous improvement of the IP organization.
- Define, implement, and manage the improvement process to optimize production efficiency, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and external regulations.
- Establish and track performance indicators, providing regular reporting on progress towards objectives.
- Manage and oversee feasibility studies, plant performance optimization, innovation, and investment projects to ensure efficient execution.
- Review and approve plant modifications related to process and equipment changes, ensuring adherence to technical, technological, economic, and SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) standards.
- Stay informed of technological developments and maintain necessary expertise within the department, ensuring the plant operates in compliance with all applicable requirements.

**You bring**:

- Engineer or PhD in biotechnology or agri-food technology (Master’s or BAC+5 minimum)
- Expertise in industrial-scale enzyme production processes: fermentation, extraction, purification, and drying
- Strong communication, teaching, and project management skills, from feasibility to execution
- 5 to 10+ years of experience in the food or biotechnology industry
- Consultative approach with creativity, innovation, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in both English and French
