**ENTER THE GAME**
We are looking for a Head of Data Science Products to lead our rapidly growing Data Science team. The role sits within the Data organization, reporting into Betclic's Chief Data Officer. In this role, you will proactively work with various business and tech units throughout Betclic, with close interactions with business executives and departmental heads, Product Managers, Analysts, and Data Engineers. You will be managing a team of highly talented Data Scientists building advanced Data Products such as customer segmentations, content personalization and recommendations, churn prediction and many others, including sport betting specific probabilities focused products and real-time systems. While the company already has a high level of data maturity, there are still many opportunities left to be creative and to drive value with new, yet to be launched Machine Learning Products, making this role a particularly exiting one
**YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC**
Your responsibilities will be:
- Build, manage and help grow a team of data scientists and data product managers.
- Up-skill the team, providing hands-on technical guidance to junior data scientists when it is needed. Drive the team to use the latest in algorithm and machine learning techniques.
- Define, get buy-in for and put in action Betclic's ML and AI strategy.
- Make sure the team delivers in agile mode, according to pre-defined roadmaps.
- Maintain close relationships with stakeholders from business teams, and our partner teams on the tech side.
- Ensure the implementation and development of coding and statistical modelling best practices, guaranteeing high standards for team's output.

This job is for you if:
- You have a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science from a top university.
- You have experience as a Data Scientist delivering machine learning products in a corporate environment.
- You have proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g. Python) and SQL.
- You have experience working in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS).
- You are familiar with Agile delivery methods.
- You have experience managing and growing Data Science teams.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are a team player, able to collaborate effectively in a matrix environment and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
