Launched in 2013, ManoMano is the reference online marketplace for DIY, home improvement and gardening. Co-founded by Philippe de Chanville and Christian Raisson, ManoMano brings together the largest offer of DIY & gardening online products: electricity, plumbing, hardware, frames, indoor and outdoor furniture, tools, etc. With more than 3 000 seller partners and 10 million products, ManoMano currently employs 600 people and operates in 6 markets (France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom).
Motivated by the prospect of improving the living environment of their customers and convinced of the importance of the home market for sustainable consumption habits, the ManoMano teams want to help write a new page in their industry, which is struggling to reform itself. ManoMano is now building a new family-based organization for France.
Each family will be composed of several positions, such as AM, BD, Catman & Emerch to reinforce our strategy of being a hyper-specialist player in the DIY vertical.
In this context, we are looking for a Key Account Manager for the **Home & Living and Garden market** team who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of French key sellers.Scopes:
- You will manage and enhance relationships with key sellers.
- Focused on Home & Living and Garden
The missions:
- Management of a Key sellers portfolio identifying sales opportunities to make grow overall business,
- Advise and continuously negotiate on selection, pricing competitiveness and stock management,
- Identify and provide advice on how to improve any business input that drive growth and improve end customer experience,
- Create a dedicated and personalized commercial relationship, building long term relationships with sellers across your portfolio,
- Follow closely the performances indicators to optimise the sales growth,
- Act as an advisor to improve your portfolio performance, also coordinating and implementing transversal projects to maximize business volume and profitability in the short and mid term such as logistics, advertising or cross-border operations
- Engage sellers and frequently share valuable insights to them,
- Proactively build joint business plans,
- Continuously negotiate better partnership terms for ManoMano,
- Act as a point of escalation for seller issues, questions, or concerns
Profile Requirements:
- 4+years of experience working in sales, account management, or buying
- You are driven by the performance of sales targets, you know how to analyse them and draw up actions plans to achieve your objectives
- Strong interest in the DIY sector and a general understanding of the e-commerce challenges (UX, B2B, selection, delivery experience, competitors )
- Strong business sense, ability to innovate and identify new opportunities
- Strong negotiation skills and proven track record in breaking top deals
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior business leaders,
- Data driven with strong analytical skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel. SQL is a strong plus
- Autonomous and adaptable, able to work in a constantly changing environment
- Fluent in French and English both written and spoken
