In this position, you will be technically responsible for all Robotics engineering activities. You'll be responsible for ensuring that engineering activities run smoothly from the pre-project stage, during the manufacturer's tender phase, to the project phase, where you'll need technical, organizational and administrative skills. You will report to the ABB Engineering Project Manager.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Rely on already implemented and proven solutions.
- Coordinate ABB teams (internal / suppliers) and monitor the commissioning of installations on the customer's site.
- Participate in the design phase, assisting the project manager in drawing up the tender.
- Draw up specifications, analyze bid feedback and modify them in line with developments,
- Participate in overall planning, analyze non-conformities and define a problem-solving plan with the partner, monitoring progress and outstanding work,
- Supervise subcontractors, or with the purchasing department, the subcontracted part of the project.
- Liaise with customers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Regularly analyze robot programs to ensure that customer standards are met.
**Your background**:
- You have a degree in robotics or similar.
- At least 5 years' experience in the Robotics sector, with knowledge of ABB, FANUC or KUKA products.
- Knowledge of 3D simulation software such as Process Simulate or Robot Studio, programming languages (STEP 7/TIA PORTAL).
- Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals a plus.
- Fluent English required.
- No travel restrictions.
- Required qualities: Autonomy, determination, listening skills, commercial sensitivity, involvement, dynamism, respect for business ethics.
