In this position, you are going to install and maintain ABB systems and/or robots on customer sites in accordance with standard procedures and safety guidelines. Your areas of intervention will be Robotics, all types of industry. You will be responsible for ensuring the preparation of interventions (reservation of equipment, PPE, tools, documentation), as well as participating in the risk analysis of the mission. You will be also identifying new business opportunities for ABB and provide feedback to internal teams. You will be attached to the Service Technician function sheet.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Carrying out maintenance, installation and commissioning according to contract requirements.
- Conducting detailed inspections to determine required maintenance and possible repairs.
- Performing troubleshooting, recommending necessary changes such as equipment replacement, purchase of spare parts to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
- Filling in all the necessary documents with the customer (safety and environment, prevention plan, work permit, etc.).
- Supervising activities performed by external resources.
- Providing customer training and technical telephone support if required.
- Establishing and having the client sign the intervention reports.
- Notifying the QHSE team and its Manager of any problems encountered (dangerous situations, etc.).
**Your background**:
- At least 3 years of higher education in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in the field of Robotics and robot programming.
- An experience in customer service environment would be a plus.
- Mastery of computer tools (Windows environment).
- Knowledge of automation and ABB robots would be a plus.
- An active driving licence is required as well as no obstacles for travelling (frequent travels in France and - possibly - abroad).
- Fluent and technical English and French required.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
