ERM is seeking a motivated market-facing commercial leader to join the ERM Southern Europe’s Corporate Sustainability & Climate Change team as a Partner. The primary focus is to further develop the consulting business by establishing deep relationships with our clients, ensuring the delivery of high quality project work and supporting the expansion and development of the existing first-class team of corporate sustainability consultants.
- Stakeholder engagement and executive level convening
- Strategy development, conceptualization and implementation
- Materiality assessments, goal setting and performance analysis
- Disclosure and external communications
- Change management, training and capacity building
- Research and benchmarking
- Project and team leadership and quality control

Preference will be given to applicants who have the following key attributes, skills and competencies:

- A minimum of 12 years of prior experience in a senior advisory position on sustainability
- A recognised profile, acknowledged credibility and a proven network in the corporate sustainability area
- Track record in building strong, trusting and commercially successful relationships with clients and partners
- Structured and effective communicator that can shape and deliver complex messages to executive level and facilitate effective client engagements
- Experience of building a team and in line management, mentoring and/or contributing to the professional development of other teammates
- A track record of thought leadership, insights and publications

Role Responsibilities:
As a Partner, you will be accountable for the commercial growth of the Corporate Sustainability service areas, working with existing clients and developing new business. You will lead the opportunity generation, proposal development and technical delivery of projects to ensure service excellence under our Partner in Charge (PiC) model of project management.

This exciting and challenging position will also expect the Partner to:

- Provide leadership in communicating and enabling ERM’s health and safety culture.
- Work closely with the Northern Europe Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change Partner group and the EMEA service leaders to develop and execute robust, proactive Go-to-Market programs with the aim of achieving ambitious commercial growth for the service area.
- Work closely with peer Partners, client Account Directors as well as EMEA regional client market leaders to develop and implement client and market segment specific sustainability consulting programmes.
- Co-develop service evolution/innovation that is responsive to client needs and market changes.
- Provide inspirational leadership that engages and motivates all levels of staff within the business.
- Proactively engage necessary stakeholders/resources in order to ensure delivery of exceptional client value, including that the right expertise and competency is applied based on the scope of service being delivered.
- Contribute to the achievement of ERM’s strategy, along with the company’s commercial targets and ambitions for profitable growth.
