**Aerospacelab France develops SML (space mobility & logistics) payloads & platforms.**:

- As thermal engineer, your role will be to manage thermal interfaces between sub-systems and perform thermal analysis and defined validation tests_

**Duties**:

- Define spacecraft thermal architecture and units thermal designs, perform concepts trade-off, carry out overall design studies and validate the products through extensive testing
- Define the thermal control of platforms and units (incl. specification of payload thermal environment)
- Carry out the testing activities: support to assembly, thermal validation and prediction, Ground Support Equipment definition
- Exploitation of flight data

**Must have**:

- MSc degree in thermal engineering, aerospace engineering or related field
- Demonstrated ability to work across the team and company to drive thermal designs to completion in full autonomy
- Demonstrated ability to define and carry out thermal testing (Thermal Cycling, Thermal Balance Tests)
- 2/5y+ experience in thermal design (preferably with Systema-Thermica) and testing
- Good communication skills
- Fluency in English

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in various thermal software (Systema-Thermica, SigFit, ESATAN) will be strongly appreciated
- Experience with space environment requirements will be strongly appreciated
- Task automation skills through scripts (Python)
