Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Saint-Tropez, set to open in 2025. Our luxurious venue will embody the dynamic energy and sophistication that this iconic destination is known for. Featuring elegant outdoor dining, Zuma Saint-Tropez will be the ultimate dinning destination in the region.

**Main Duties**
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Oversee food preparation to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and appearance, while minimizing waste
- Support each pastry section to ensure service reflects Zuma’s creativity, flair, and precision
- Estimate food consumption needs and plan orders for perishables and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels and smooth operations
- Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and uphold clear, sanitized, and safe work areas
- Address guest and team member inquiries courteously, escalating issues to senior chefs or management as necessary
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, conducting regular training sessions on techniques, recipes, and knife skills to foster growth and skill enhancement
