In this context of change, and with a direct report to the
- _Head of External Communication & Global Content_, the Corporate Content & Events Manager will be a key player in promoting the company’s strategy, and its disruptive convictions.- **Content creation** : She / He will be in charge of creating, publishing and distributing high-quality content across various platforms. This would include also coordinating external agencies and providers, ensuring that all content is on-brand and aligned with the company’s overall strategy. A close work is expected with the Social & Digital Content Manager and the Webmaster.
- She/he will ensure communication consistency across the Group, contributing to the animation and coordination of the Nexans communication community.
- **Events lead** : plan, organize and execute successful communication events, such as press conference, general assembly, thought leadership debatesThis would include managing all aspects of the event planning process, from initial concept development to post-event evaluation.
- **Company outreach and social commitments **:The Corporate Content & Events manager will also have the responsibility to promote our different actions of **patronage and sponsorships**, where Nexans’ expertise in sustainable electrification serves the public good on three fronts: climate change, medical research and cultural heritage.
- She/He will also have a key role for the communication of the **Fondation Nexans**, and to plan, organize and execute successful communication plans to promote the Foundation actions around the world (first Corporate Foundation dedicated to serving the public interest, in the cabling sector, having supported over 145 projects all over the world and benefiting more than 2.2 million people). She/he will work closely with the Foundation project manager, with a network of international contacts and with the Social & Digital Content Manager to ensure a consistent communication across all our platforms (social media, website ).

**Position sizing**
- In the Group Communication department, part of the External & Content team as a key critical
- position for Nexans communications- Coordinate several communication agencies / consultants at different levels of positioning
- Close work with the Corporate communication director and multiple company stakeholders at international levels

**Required skills and qualifications**
- Communication strong communicator with a logical, structured, clear and mature style
- Hyper-collaborative, autonomous, organized, proactive and adaptable
- Detail-oriented, able to work on tight deadlines and learn quickly.
- Excellent oral and written communication (in French and English)
- Strong visual design sensibilities
- Appetite for innovation & creativity
- Up-to-date knowledge of and genuine interest in content strategies
- Ability to drive events by itself in fast-pace and international environments
- Positive mindset with a “learning never stops” attitude
- High interest for CSR commitments

**Education and experience**
- Business and/or Communication graduate degree
- 5+ years’ experience in a communications position
- Experience within an international company
- Fluent English, additional languages appreciated.
- Events management with regular interactions with different stakeholders
- Ability to take part to any-topic in Communication, with a 360 vision
