**Who are we looking for?**:
Design is central to how our users engage with Pixaera—from the first click to life-changing training outcomes. As a Product Designer, you’ll be an equal partner in our **product trio** (Product, Design, Engineering), helping define and deliver solutions that are **valuable, usable, and feasible**.

You’ll work on real-world challenges that impact safety-critical industries—designing experiences that are not just intuitive and elegant, but **measurably effective at protecting workers’ lives**.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, and design leads to **define problems**, run discovery, and **co-create solutions** grounded in user needs and business goals.
- Translate insights from user research, field observations, and behavioral data into low to high-fidelity prototypes and production-ready designs.
- Participate in and occasionally lead product **product discovery activities** such as assumption mapping, solution prototyping, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews.
- Balance fast-paced iteration with a commitment to **high-quality interaction and visual design**.
- Evolve and maintain our design system for consistency and scalability across products.
- Contribute to a **culture of continuous learning**, design critique, and cross-functional collaboration.

**Who are you?**:

- 2-4 years of experience designing digital products, with exposure to working in cross-functional product teams.
- Experience designing for immersive learning, safety-critical environments, or enterprise training systems.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong **user-centered design**, clear decision-making, and effective problem-solving not just beautiful UI.
- Experience running or participating in **discovery activities** like rapid prototyping, user testing, and hypothesis validation.
- Proficiency with Figma and component-based design systems.
- Strong communication skills you can articulate design trade-offs and advocate for users, while listening openly to others.
- Excitement about working in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup where you’ll help shape not just products, but also **how we work together**.
