**Your Mission**

We are looking for an Accounting Apprentice to join the Accounting team at BlaBlaCar. Their mission is to ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant financial management while supporting informed decision-making within the company..As an Accounting Apprentice, your role will be to assist with financial transactions and operations, support financial reporting, conduct financial analysis and participate in financial projects. You will be reporting to the General ledger Lead and working with a team of 10 people.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Process invoices, handling payments, and managing financial records.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable
- General Ledger accounting (Assets, Payroll, Taxes, Intercompany reconciliation)
- Analyze financial data
- Help in preparing financial reports and statements
- Work on specific finance-related projects, such as process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, or implementing new financial systems

**Your qualifications**:

- You are studying Business Administration, Engineering, Transport and Mobility or any other relevant field
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles, including understanding debits and credits, financial transactions, and familiarity with financial statements
- Strong skills in using Microsoft Excel/GSheets for data analysis and financial reports. This includes knowledge of functions, formulas, pivot tables, and data manipulation
- Full working proficiency in English. French would be a plus
- You have excellent communication skills and enjoy sharing and learning from others
- You are organized, results-driven, and are able to prioritize in a changing environment
- Nice to have: Familiarity with popular financial software systems
