**The role**:
You will be managing the retail partnerships in France. You will be responsible for the development of strategic, long-term partnerships with retailers and in-store execution with the intention to maximize sales whilst respecting the brand’s luxury credentials. You need to be commercially minded and comfortable with sales and profit targets. In addition to this, we need someone who will be able to review and negotiate commercial terms and have strong communication skills as you will have to build lasting, quality relationships with key stakeholders at Head Office, Stores but also internally at Molton Brown.
You will take active part in monthly team meetings and to report back to the team on a weekly and quarterly basis.
**What you will do**:
- Drive sales and profit of Molton Brown including having P&L responsibilty.
- Development and implementation of strategic and commercial plans for the region and by key retailer to allow for desired growth.
- Reporting on sales performance, forecasting and development of stretched plans.
- Drive product and brand display excellence in wholesale branches and/or online.
- Build strong relationships with accounts, both at store level (if relevant) and head office to maximise business growth and opportunities
- Work with the Wholesale team to explore and capitalise on opportunities and drive efficiencies
**What you need**:
- BSc/BA hons degree or equivalent.
- Experience and understanding of business development
- Experience in managing and delivering top and bottom line sales in line with distribution and channel strategies
- Experience in building relationships with retailers for the benefit of the total business
- Experience in working with retailers at Head Office and Store level (where relevant)
- Ability to analyse sales, competitor activity and market data in order to create commercial plans and, make recommendations for the business
- Experience in meeting budgeted sales and profit growth targets
- Experience in P&L accountability
- 2-5 years experience in an account management / retail facing role
- Excellent negotiation skills, analytical skills, numerical skills.
- Proven success in managing a number of projects to tight deadlines.
- Ability to understand strategic objectives oft he business and develop/implement appropriate plans that deliver to targets set.
