**Position summary**

As a mission driven and inspirational Chief People Officer, you are reporting to the CEO and co-founder, taking the lead role in defining and building the end-to-end people capability at Platform.sh for a scaling globally remote workforce. This role is for a European based seasoned professional.

You operate as an executive coach for the founders and leadership team, with the deep abilities to fine-tune management skills and capabilities through analysis and inspirational leadership.

Combining your extensive experience in people operations and strategic leadership, you carry out strategic People responsibility for the entire company, translating the business strategy into a people strategy.

You have full accountability for and develop comprehensive approaches to all HR matters: employee relations, employer branding, talent acquisition, employee culture, benefits and compensation, organizational change and design, performance management, learning and development.

You communicate the company's values, ethics and mission internally and externally, and measure how this creates an environment in which engaged employees thrive in the context of an ultra-distributed setting.

You constantly measure employee experience to provide the most comprehensive offering of reward, benefits and work environment.

You lead a team of 9 with a range of differing expertise focused on transformation, new capabilities and value creation across talent acquisition, operations, mobility, compensation, communications and systems.

You extend the influence of the people function to every aspect of Platform.sh through challenging, aligning and evolving the organizational capabilities to achieve growth goals.

**What you bring**
- Proven HR lead experience with broad responsibilities of operating human resources on a company with 500+ employees with an emphasis on organizational design, learning and development, process automation, performance improvement and data/people analytics
- Proven track record in the tech industry with international teams
- Affinity with remote working practices and concepts and the emergent trends around employee empowerment, distributed organizations and multicultural teams
- Expert strategic and operational skills with the track record of taking concepts and creating high performance capabilities accurately tailored to unique and evolving scenarios for businesses, functions and individuals in remote working
- Extensive and clearly evident emotional intelligence with expertise in synthesizing common understandings, driving collaboration, removing ambiguity and raising direct challenges
- Fundamentally influential and able to impact and empower all parts of an organization with the refined communication skills to drive for higher levels of achievement and exceptional behaviors at all levels
- High conviction style, trusting, hard working and detail oriented with an ability and appetite to lead and grow organizations and capabilities
- Selfless and valuing collective success and continuous improvement in daily activities
