**Job Summary**

An independent financial professional, responsible for wide scope of responsibilities to support local management and cooperate with business and corporate finance teams

**Responsibilities**

The Finance & Accounting Manager is, among other things, responsible for keeping the financial administration up-to-date, ensuring that monthly tax returns are taken care of, preparing weekly monthly and quarterly reports for corporate (Ingersoll Rand) and preparing the data for the statutory annual accounts.
- Accounting activities in local ERP (SAP B1) including, but not limited to - GL entries, accounts payable, account receivable ledgers, inventory, fixed assets, banks
- Month end closing activities and reporting
- Weekly reporting of sales and orders
- Supporting weekly outlook preparation
- Balance sheet GL reconciliations
- Bank accounts reconciliations
- Cash allocation
- Supplier invoices
- Suppliers' and customers' master data management
- Communication with local audit and tax authorities
- Dealing/cooperation with external and internal auditors
- Following on customers past due balances
- Leading and supervising of small accounting team (currently 1 accountant)
- Responsible for passing on changes to the personnel administration, absenteeism management and checking the monthly salary processing
- Preparing payments to suppliers, and salary payments.

**Key Competencies**

The Finance & Accounting Manager is expected to have:

- 5 years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience, partly in a managerial role;
- thorough knowledge of French GAAP & some knowledge of US GAAP;
- knowledge of and experience with personnel and salary administration;
- knowledge of a setting up dashboards;
- experience in supervising and carrying out internal audits;
- has good communication skills with a service-oriented personality;
- has good IT skills (including expert use of Excel and ERP systems);
- has a good command of the French and English languages in word and writing;
- has good time-management and organizational skills;
- has a proactive high energy attitude and is personally involved in order to be successful;
- has at least a Bachelor in Finance or Accountancy education level;
- and is administratively very accurate.
