Accounting Internship or Work-study

We are Certified B Corp Our finance and administrative team needs to strengthen as we expand into the EMEA region and other avenues. We are looking for our future Accounting Work-Study Student or Intern to help us structure our workflows and ensure top-notch financial management. You will be reporting to our French American Finance Manager, who brings extensive experience from large corporate environments. If you've already gotten your hands dirty in the general ledger and you're ready to take on responsibilities, join the adventure **Daily accounting management**: - Processing and booking transactions in our Pennylane and Xero software (bank reconciliations, supplier payments). - Managing customer and supplier invoicing for our EMEA and France entities. - Preparing and tracking supplier payment runs via Revolut and other banks. **Administration and follow-up**: - Daily administrative management: processing mail, document management, updates, and assisting with HR admin tasks like employee onboarding. - Chasing unpaid customer invoices and managing direct debits, tracking payments received, and account matching. - Integrating and checking customer invoices via our Coupa paperless invoicing system. **Participation in closing processes and continuous improvement**: - Contributing to annual closing processes. - Monitoring and participating in VAT recovery (France and international). - Proactively suggesting ways to optimize and improve the reliability of our accounting and administrative processes. **Education & Experience**: - You are studying for an accounting degree (such as DCG, DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent) and have significant initial experience of about two years (internship or work-study) in an accounting firm or a company.
