**Job Description**:
Reporting to Group Energy Director
- Synthesize and present research findings and recommendations for new market entry strategy
- Support the global energy team to execute and action new market entry strategies
- Quantitative and qualitative analyses on operational, marketing, customer and market data to drive business results
- Turn Data into Action - Use data to build insights into business performance, conduct analyses to identify trends and drivers of growth, strategically evaluate new market opportunities
- Create Business, Market and Competitor Intelligence to help inform the sector’s value proposition for customers

**Background**:
**Analytical Approach**: Align with company’s strategic goals and objectives. He/She should be hands on and analytical with the ability to track, measure and evaluate sales performance

**External Awareness**: Recognizes trends and events outside the organization, and focuses on the issues that will affect performance, particularly in relation to the customers that we are targeting

**Customer Focus**: A customer focused individual; able to understand customer and client needs and develop and implement effective solutions to maximize growth and new business development

**Qualifications**:

- Completing studies in the field of energy
- Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills - the ability to drive quantitative analysis and very comfortable with fact based / analytical problem solving
- Passion for using data to inform next steps and drive business goals
- Consultative approach to identifying and assessing business opportunities
- Ability to work well in teams and form partnerships to complete projects
- Strong oral and written communication
- Results-orientated and focused on impact
