We invest in large-scale projects all around the world to:
- **empower** smallholder farmers and rural communities with sustainable land practices, improved food security and income,
- **restore** degraded natural ecosystems and contribute to climate action,
- **create value** across sustainable agricultural supply chains.
Concretely, it means to identify, design, closely support and monitor community-based projects that are implemented by our local project developers, most of the time local NGOs that we support in building capacity. Our business model is based on engaging and coordinating large coalitions **(NGOs, investors, suppliers, public offtakers, private donors, banks, scientific advisors etc...) to generate measurable impacts.**
To join our growing team of talented, committed and agile professionals, we are looking for a **Project management Support Officer**, based in Paris Region.
**MISSION**:
Reporting to the Organisational Development Manager, the Project management Support Officer (PMSO) is responsible for the maintenance and improvement of Livelihoods project management. He/she provides guidance and support to project managers on project management processes, templates and documentation. He/she promotes project management principles and standards as well as ensuring documentation is in place and well maintained.
More specifically the PMSO is in charge of:
- Process et Good Practices (40%)
Leads implementation and upgrade of best practices and processes concerning project management, to guarantee efficiency of project management. Supplies advices and coaching, methods and tools for project managers, guarantees management consistency amongst project managers;
- Creation and maintenance of project management tools (40%)
- Contribution to resource management (10%)
He/she supports the COO by preparing the Resource Coordination Committee to identify issues and risks.
- Project document management (10%)
Supports staff members in documentation management related to project management (project’s creation, development cycle, implementation cycle including the project’s objectives, budget, deliverables, etc ) and facilitates the implementation of document management procedures
**You possess minimum 3 years relevant experience on a similar position (project management, business management, quality, IT).**
You are**:
- **Digital fluent **on Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Project management software tool are a big plus.
- ** process-oriented,** showing strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- ** Problem-solver, **always looking for solution align with all parties needs and project interest.
- ** Persuasive yet empathic** to build trustful relationships with colleagues and understand their challenges and opinions.
- ** Didactic **to communicate clearly through the appropriate channel.
- ** Interculturally sensitive **to understand and adapt to different cultures among your colleagues all over the world.
- ** Fluent in English** (spoken and written) as it is our internal working language.
