**UXR at WeTransfer**
UXR is part of the Product Design team at WeTransfer. We’re interested in the weird and wonderful ways that creative minds work, and how they shape the world around us. Understanding their workflow front to back, and exploring the experience from the user’s point of view (as well as our own) is at the heart of what we do. The user experience has become the foundation for our brand, and the way we look ahead, imagining new ways to enable people to do their best work.

**About the WeTransfer product team**
The team you’ll be joining is responsible for building on the success of our widely beloved file delivery service used by hundreds of millions of people each year. You’ll be joining the team at an exciting stage of new development as we build the next evolution of our service. The Transfer product is the highest impact product for our business, and you’ll help it stay true to its mantra “beautifully obvious”.

**What you'll be working on**:

- **You'll be at the heart of user-centered innovation.** You’ll be making sure the Transfer teams can make decisions based on insights, rather than gut feeling. You’ll paint a clear picture of the current user experience and help teams validate new ideas, concepts, and features.
- **You'll build upon our collective understanding of our creative audience.** Every moment with a user helps us paint a better picture of their world, worries, and wonders. You’ll help build frameworks that enable the company to _see_ and _act_ differently.
- **You’ll be part of a product eco-system** that is user-centered by nature. The user experience is at the heart of what we do, so no need to explain the value of your role. You can spend that energy on finding new and more compelling ways to share your work and spark ideas.
- **You’ll have plenty of** **room to grow.** We value trust and independence, and our team of researchers will always have your back. You’ll primarily support us with evaluative research, but there is _always_ room to explore new methods as you mature in your craft.

**Who we’re looking for**:

- **At least 2 years of relevant research experience in a digital product organization or agency** where you have done usability tests, concept tests, and/or unmoderated studies by yourself.
- **You're comfortable doing evaluative research,** having done this many times in previous jobs and you can run a study end-to-end mostly independent of others.
- **You have a sharp mind** **with an eye for detail.** You like digging, whether to get to the question behind the question of your stakeholders, or the problem behind the problem of our users.
- **You’re hands-on, and comfortable with different research tools** or are eager to learn them.
- **You have a growth mindset** — eager to learn, always looking for ways to optimize how you work, and always ready to help a team member out.
- **You are eager to grow your research experience** and try new research methods that extend beyond evaluative research (i.e. discovery / foundational / generative research).
- **You have good communication skills.** You can communicate findings to your team with ease and help them understand the impact of their decisions on the user experience.
- **You enjoy working in a collaborative, dynamic environment.** You are proactive and feel comfortable empowering, educating, and challenging teams.
- **Willingness and ability to have a flexible schedule to work across time zones**. WeTransfer is a remote team with members in Amsterdam, New York, and Los Angeles.
- **WeTransfer is part of the creative community and so are you** — broadly interested in tech, culture, and the arts.

**A note on remote**
Our work environment is hybrid-remote, meaning that we support our employees to work remotely and in the office. We encourage employees to decide for themselves and with their team whether or when to go to the office.
