ABB, a world leader in power and automation technologies, is recruiting a Sales Engineer for its motion offer (motors and drives) to the distribution and installation industry. Reporting to the Sales Director - End Customers, Distribution, Installers and IS, you will be responsible for the follow-up and development of the distributor/installer network in the Lyon region as well as end customers and IS. You will use your experience and motivation to develop lasting relationships with customers by identifying effective solutions to meet their needs.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Penetrate the market of specialized motor and drive distribution in the Hauts-de-France region
- Create added value for customers (distributors, users, installers) and ABB
- Monitor direct and indirect customers (distributors, users, installers)
- Prospect, develop sales with new customers
- Deploy the national distribution strategy in the regions
- Animate and develop the electrical and electromechanical technical distribution network
- Establish a detailed action plan for each point of sale and ensure its proper implementation
- Become a recognized player in your region (professional networks in the region, local representatives, etc.)
**Your background**:
- At least 3 years of higher education in electrical engineering, supplemented by a commercial and/or marketing Master's degree in an industrial environment
- At least 5 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, in an industrial sector and distribution, ideally in the field of motors and drives
- Experience in business development, account management and cross-selling in systems, solutions, products and services categories
- Knowledge of SFDC required
- Knowledge of contract negotiation, risk management and commercial and legal terms
- Fluent English and French imperative
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, customer oriented mindset, professional attitude and winning behavior
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business
