Global Operations Finance Department’s mission is to measure and manage the industrial performance of all the Essilor group's lens factories (production of Finished and Semi-Finished lenses, prescription laboratories, transitions, sun lenses), and to monitor and understand the costs of the Group's lenses business.
Under the responsibility of the Opex Controlling Manager, the Business Analyst supports the teams of the Global Lenses Innovation divisions in France (about 110m€ budget and +/- 600 people) and takes charge of the following missions:
- GLI expenses controlling : prepare France GLI budgets and forecasts and compare to actual and report to GLI manager in France on headcount, Opex and Capex;
- Ensures completeness and accuracy of accounting positions of the division (accruals, invoice booking in right account and cost center);
- Analysis and controlling of wages and headcounts with the support of the HR team;
- Being the privileged interlocutor for financial matters of the management and operational staff of GLI;
- Investment monitoring (CAPEX), and ensure the completeness of investments procurement documentation;
- Validation of the SAP Purchase Order Request and the invoice of the GLI Direction Cost Center and ensuring up to date validation workflow;
- Contribute to transversal projects of the finance function, maintain mapping between systems (Atome, SAP, CARS);
- Development of existing reports or development of processes with the purpose of simplification and optimization.
