We are partnering with Saveetha School of Management, a premier institution in Chennai, to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef with expertise in French cuisine. This role is ideal for a native French chef who has excelled in prestigious 5-star hotels and is eager to lead and inspire the next generation of culinary professionals.

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Culinary Instruction:

- Lead the culinary program, focusing on traditional and contemporary French cuisine, and guide students in mastering these skills.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive culinary lessons, including hands-on practical sessions that meet the highest standards of French culinary arts.
- Demonstrate advanced cooking techniques and innovative presentation styles, ensuring students are well-prepared for careers in the global hospitality industry.

2. Curriculum Development & Innovation:

- Collaborate with academic staff to design and enhance the culinary curriculum, ensuring it reflects the latest industry trends and innovations while preserving the authenticity of French cuisine.
- Introduce students to global culinary trends, integrating them into the curriculum to provide a well-rounded education.

3. Student Mentorship & Development:

- Mentor and inspire students, helping them to develop their culinary skills, creativity, and professional ethos.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, supporting their academic and professional growth.

4. Kitchen & Resource Management:

- Oversee the culinary training kitchen, ensuring it meets educational goals and adheres to high standards of safety, hygiene, and efficiency.
- Manage kitchen operations, including resource procurement, inventory management, and equipment maintenance, to support the educational program.

5. Professional Development & Networking:

- Stay at the forefront of global culinary trends, especially within French cuisine, and integrate this knowledge into the culinary program.
- Build relationships with industry professionals and alumni to enhance the school's culinary network and opportunities for students.

**Requirements**:
1. **Willingness to relocate to Chennai, India, and lead the culinary program.**

2. Extensive experience as a Head Chef in prestigious 5-star hotels.

3. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing kitchen teams.

4. Previous experience in teaching or a strong interest in culinary education.

5. High standards of food safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

6. Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Tamil or Hindi is a plus but not required.

7. Native of France with a deep passion for and expertise in French cuisine.
