**Desktop and Infrastructure Engineer** **Paris** As a Barclays Desktop and Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll ensure projects, changes and operational services are meeting both SLAs (Service Level Agreement) and our objective. You’ll provide a positive colleague experience while reporting service issues and escalations and identifying opportunities for service improvements. The team will be the primary entry point into their jurisdiction for BCS/GTIS (Barclays Collaboration Services/Global Technology Infrastructure Services) and ensure regional considerations are communicated and understood. We offer careers that provide endless opportunity - helping millions of individuals and businesses thrive and creating financial and digital solutions that the world now takes for granted. **What will you be doing?**: - Providing desk-side assistance for the IT related calls that cannot be resolved by the Service Desk - Delivering daily seamless end-to-end support service for users to help drive the effectiveness and commercial strength of the business - Providing "Hands and Eyes" services to international teams for complex desk-side assistance activities for specific customer related issues - Showing the ability to follow a problem through to resolution and provide frequent updates along the way to relevant stakeholders - Managing and coordinating issue resolution and feedback, to customer satisfaction - Managing incidents using supplied tools and systems and responding within agreed SLAs - Ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance to defined processes and policies and within agreed SLAs **What we’re looking for**: - Diploma in IT - Demonstrable track record of experience in Technology - Knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change processes and practices - Ability to manage incident response and co-ordination activities liaising across multiple global locations and colleagues **Skills that will** **help you in the role**: - ITIL Foundation Certificate - There is an occasional requirement for after hours and weekend duties, so flexibility is essential - Ability to work with international remote teams - Experience working in an international organization and international remote teams **Where will you be working?** Dating from 1922, Barclays has a long established presence in France.
