**Duties**
- Provide technical support for desktop and laptop computers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
- Manage computer networking tasks such as VPN setup, firewall configurations, and TCP/IP troubleshooting.
- Utilize tools like SCCM for software deployment and management across devices.
- Respond to help desk tickets using platforms such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, or Jira to track incidents and resolutions.
- Conduct analysis of system performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain Active Directory for user account management and permissions.
- Assist in the administration of DNS settings and network administration tasks.
- Ensure mobile devices are configured correctly for user access to corporate resources.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
**Experience**
- Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts including LAN/WAN configurations.
- Experience with network administration tools and protocols (TCP, DNS).
- Proficient in using help desk software such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Understanding of operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server and Linux environments.
