**Context**

This role has a primary objective to lead the French OEMs engagement to position NXP solution from the automotive processing (AP) business line. The ideal leader actively does business development with OEMs to: understand their technology trends; understand their vehicle architecture and their full use cases; understand their problem statement and positions a differentiated end-to-end SoC architecture that leverages NXP HW processing and SW integration to address those needs. The OEM Solution Marketing is responsible for BL AP HW and SW selling at the OEMs and drives the winning engagement strategy, in alignment with the Product Lines and the sales organization.

The automotive market is in an acceleration phase, with massive parallel innovation occurring across all domains with the adoption of the most advanced technologies. This unique moment in time represents both an unprecedented opportunity for our customers and an extraordinary demand on their resources and capabilities. The three domains of the highest complexity for the market are Software, Functional Safety, and Security. Our strategic objective is to provide the easiest solutions for our customers to adopt and integrate in these domains.

**Role and Responsibilities**

The OEM Solution Marketing will position the future, differentiated solution roadmap at the different regional OEMs. He/she will do specific business development for the Automotive processing BL.

The primary vision for this role is to lead OEM engagement to understand their vehicle architecture and to position NXP as the trusted partner for automotive processing HW and SW solutions **. **The primary measure of success will be the BL AP HW and SW design wins achieved at those OEM resulting from the developed relationship and technical engagement at the OEM.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

- Engage effectively with OEM to build strong technical and management relationship;
- Understand the different OEMs vision for future car architecture;
- Derive SoC architecture and SW architectures offering answering the OEM car architecture need
- Extract OEM problem statements, identify broader patterns and communicate market problems internally;
- Consolidate and coordinate the OEM design-in activities via a comprehensive engagement plan and compelling business proposition;
- Collaborate with Sales, BL AP Product Lines, sister Business Lines and technical experts to define and implement an overall solution positioning;
- Engaging early with OEM on proof of concepts to successfully position on next platform generation;
- Train the global OEM sales team to effectively promote and sell AP solutions

**Reach and Interactions**
- The scope of the role is regional ( EMEA, China, Americas, Japan or Korea)
- Impact over entire BL AP processing portfolio as well as related sister Business Lines (BLs) through Solution
- Primary interactions
- BL AP management team
- BL AP marketing, product lines and R&D teams
- CTO organization, in particular for functional safety and security leadership & experts

**Core Competencies**
- Proven track record of business creation, including co-creating business with partners
- 10 years+ in defining and positioning solution for automotive market
- Strong experience in Business development and RFI/RFQ management
- Experience in SoC architecture, software and system solutions that enable car architecture evolution
- Strong business acumen, customer focus/ external orientation
- Ability to mobilize resources, align internal stakeholders and lead global partner marketing programs
