**Job Description**:
We are looking for an EMEA automotive business development manager with responsibility for developing and executing strategies to maximize NXP content specifically for the automotive megatrends Autonomous Driving, Connectivity and Electrification at OEM’s and Tier1’s..

As part of our European automotive OEM/T1 team, you’ll get it all first-hand. Whether it’s coordinating activities for a new automotive OEM platform definition, presenting our leading capabilities to them, creating system solutions, preparing workshops - you will have the opportunity to drive significant business opportunities, coordinate from the concept stage at an OEM to production ramp at a T1.

**Responsibilities**:

- Being responsible for defining OEM and Tier 1 strategies in the relevant automotive innovation areas where semiconductors play a key role
- Identify and establish collaboration projects at OEM’s and Tier1’s and drive those self-contained to the DWIN
- Understand the related visionary product requirements and drive the resulting product definition incorporating all the relevant NXP BL’s/PL’s
- Setting up business relationships up to senior management level/board level at OEM/Tier1 to actively promote strengths of NXP products together with the relevant OEM/1st Tier account manager

Your Profile:

- Electrical engineering degree or similar
- Experience with OEM & Tier 1 semiconductor collaboration projects, being able to drive visionary ideas
- Open mindset for new technology trends (ADAS, EV, vehicle architectures, software trends.) being able to adapt these
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in automotive semiconductors
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in both German and English
- Strong negotiation skills to moderate between OEM and Tier1’s as well as internal functions for technical, commercial and administrative topics
- Strong analytical skills to extract key customer requirements and to identify appropriate solutions
- High degree of flexibility, motivation, customer focus, business orientation and networking ability are requested for this position
- Accountability and autonomy are required for this job
- Willing to travel (EMEA and WW)
