In 2021, Nexans generated 6.1 billion euros in standard sales.- **Poste** PROJECT MANAGEMENT OWNER RENEWABLES **Organisation** - Fonction : Sales & Marketing - Pays : France - Site : Courbevoie - N+1 : Global Market Director Wind OEM **Purpose** The Business Group Industry, Solutions and Projects (ISP) has provided for several years a range of support services (design of cables, harnesses, power accessories) to our top EPCs and OEMs customers of the renewables (Wind and Solar) market segment with the purpose to bring our expertise to help better/faster develop LV, MV or LHV cabling systems for energy farms, and ultimately differentiate from competitors and strengthen Nexans ISP's leadership position on the market. Whenever a strong coordination and alignment of both internal and external stakeholders is required, Nexans delivers this value within service packages called “resident engineering” (pre-sales) and "project management" (execution) to maximize sales, profitability while executing contracts with highest level of service quality. The selected individual shall contribute to strengthen these services packages by managing technical design assignments and specific full project execution and ensuring the coordination of experts spread across multiple units of Nexans in Europe. The position is located in Courbevoie/La Defense (France) or Viborg (Denmark), with frequent travels to meet customers (R&D from OEMs or technical departments from EPCs) or Nexans industrial units during project development and reports to the Global Product Manager Renewables / Sales & Marketing Director Renewables. **Missions & Responsibilities** The job position consists in two assignments: - **Resident Engineering (ca. 50%)** - Support R&D departments of our OEM customers or technical department of our EPC customers during the design engineering process by defining components (such as cable cross sections, installation mode, ampacity, short circuit limitations, connectors) of LV/MV/LHV power or control cabling systems. The component selection and qualification processes shall be done in collaboration with the customer technical stakeholders, Nexans experts and sales/marketing managers. The range of products extends on Windlink®, Energyflex® and Keylios® product lines but can also leverage third party equipment. - Support R&D departments of our OEM customers or technical department of our EPC customers during design revision or upgrade phases in order to optimize or standardize existing product range selected or complete bill of materials related to cabling systems. Ensure and coordinate potential test or certification actions related to the missions/project with Nexans units/experts. - Collect the functional needs of the customers through interviews, routine meetings, pre-sales activities or other feedback sessions organized by Nexans sales/marketing team. Using a fast project mode, such feedback is to be translated into technical requests sent to Nexans engineering department of the relevant units, ultimately delivering quotations or technical documentation demonstrating the fit with requirements and price performance. - **Project Management Owner (PMO) (ca. 50%)** - Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects related to customer Purchase Orders or Contracts - Ensure the adequate governance of the project with customer stakeholders, through shared documentation and follow up tools, steering committees, weekly or monthly routines - Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables, monitor risks and resource alignment, monitor and report regular progress, escalate to management in case of deviations - Drafting new and improving existing project management policies and processes - This list of tasks is not exhaustive and may change depending on the needs of the service._ **Expected results** - Timely execution of projects (product development or engineering assignment) - Quality of the technical support to the requests formulated by the customer R&D stakeholders - Contribution to the successful amplification of the collaboration program by expanding the roles and responsibility of Nexans in the engineering processes of the customer - Optimization of market share/profitability/product complexity through successful adv
