In this role of Operating Functions HR Director, you will prepare our workforce for company-wide transformations and foster their personal development, safeguard crucial succession plans, acquire fresh competencies beyond our established core business, and equip our employees for new work methodologies. Additionally, you will identify key areas where you will proactively address the risks associated with talent scarcity, inadequate succession pipelines, and difficulties in attracting highly skilled professionals.**Getting a flying start** - To succeed as Operating Functions HR Director you will develop and maintain the talent pipeline for our operating functions and areas of expertise, which are crucial to the success of Nexans' ambitions. In this role you will assume the responsibility of overseeing and executing career and talent management initiatives and programs, targeting critical populations and functions in alignment with Nexans' business strategy.**How You Make An Impact** - You will drive business transformation by focusing on key responsibilities such as developing competency and talent strategies aligned with each function's long-term vision, implementing workforce planning, designing role models, addressing competency gaps, managing succession plans, identifying and nurturing key talents, and coordinating assessments. While Business Group HR Teams handle staffing and talent development, you will collaborate to ensure a strong talent pipeline. You will primarily prioritise the Innovation, Industrial & Purchasing, and Sales & Marketing functions, with initiatives like strengthening the industrial talent pipeline, implementing innovation and technical expert programs, and supporting sales and marketing deployment.- Your impact will be significant, as you will play a key role in encompassing the establishment of development programs and career paths for all operating functions, ensuring succession plans are in place for critical positions and key talents with ready-now successors, prioritizing the retention of high potentials and top managers. The objective for internal staffing is set at 60%, while gender diversity objectives are defined at the group level to align with the E3 strategy.
