The Western Europe Treasury Sales Head will work closely with Commercial Banking’s top (platinum) clients & prospects, the leadership, sales, and product partners across the region. The incumbent will drive strategic market expansion, manage a team of high performing individuals and be a senior expert in their field. This is a team leader role with senior individual contributor aspects as well, expected to partner and influence decision makers across clients and within the bank with an aim to make Citi the go to international banking partner for our client segments. **Core Responsibilities**: - Grow Western Europe presence in both existing markets - Nordics, Benelux, Iberia, Italy as well as new expansion markets - Deliver on ambitious revenue growth - Lead, grow, coach and mentor your team, providing them with the resources and guidance to bring the best out of them - Drive strategic initiatives, new product commercialization and process rationalization to help grow revenues - Become an expert on all treasury and cash management offerings both at the bank, and the broader market - Lead critical sub-products/workstreams that are foundational pillars for success - Work with management on planning, resourcing, and market expansion - Evaluate issues to identify potential impact and take steps to mitigate, advise proactive solutions and develop an approach involving weighing of various alternatives. - Provide solutions for all escalated client issues and co-ordinate resolution ensuring best possible client experience. - Keep the management team updated on progress of the team’s performance, with a plan on how to solve for potential challenge - Travel: 50% **Skills that will help you in the Role**: - Expert on the Western Europe market, understanding market forces and drivers - Experience in managing people, demonstrating how you have helped them develop in their careers - Excellent Interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deliverables both for clients and internally - Experience in managing client relationships, ability to influence others to support client needs - Fluency in English and in an European language(s) will be complimentary - Communication skills for effective presentations, pitches and conversions - Ability to identify problems and solutions leveraging cash product propositions, business drivers, policies, customer needs and market trends - Demonstrate thought leadership and vision for future planning and growth - In-depth knowledge of regulations, market practices and bank operations This Role is a “Controlled Function” Role as defined by the Central Bank of Ireland Reform Act 2010 and Principal Regulations 2011, and amending Regulations 2014, 2015 - **Job Family Group**: Commercial and Business Sales - **Job Family**: Commercial Product Sales - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
