Ankorstore was founded in 2019 to build a platform that enables independent shops and brands to connect and thrive. As a result, we became a wholesale marketplace that provides the tools these entrepreneurs need to compete against e-commerce giants.

We work with a network of independent retailers all across Europe, including concept stores, design shops, boutiques, fine food stores and other retailers. Brands retain complete control over which retailers they choose and who they sell to.

We support businesses and local economies, not corporations, employing communities of creative people who value craftsmanship over mass production and mass-market deals.

Only two years after our successful launch, we gathered 300,000 retailers and 30,000 brands across Europe and reached unicorn status with a valuation of €1.75 billion.

In less than three years, we grew to a company of 600+ employees of 45+ nationalities and six offices across five countries (France, the UK, Spain, Italy, and Germany).

**The role**

As our Marketing and Business Development intern, your mission is to accelerate new retailers acquisition of our future retailers support programme Ankorstart in Germany.

**To do so, you will**:
**Partnership strategy - 60%**
- Identify key potential partners in the German entrepreneurship sector
- Identify types of commercial offers that they might be interested in working with us
- Contact and negotiate with them
- Coordinate all the requests and monitor the performance of each partnership

**Customer knowledge - 30%**
- Conduct retailers interviews (physical and online shops, both in the process of launching and already launched)
- Map German future retailer journey from ideation to 1 year after launch to identify partners, services and tools that are supporting them to launch a successful retail shop

**Content management support - 20%**

In coordination with the ankorstart marketing manager:

- Create content for the ankorstart programme that is suitable for the German market (video, blog article, practical sheet...)
- Coordinate the updating of our German blog
- Proofreading and final validation of all ankorstart German marketing materials

**What we are looking for ?**
- Bachelor/master degree
- 6 month internship minimum
- Excellent writing skills both in German and English (french is a plus)
- Be attracted to the retail and entrepreneurial sector
- Versatile, organised and able to move from one project to another
- Autonomy and proactivity would be highly appreciated
