- Safety representative in Early Projects (up to FIM)
- Target Safety Assessment
- Validation and implementation of novel in vitro approaches to predict in vivo toxicity
- Special interest in molecular toxicity mechanisms

**Main responsibilities / job expectations**
- Represent Non-Clinical Drug Safety in discovery and early development programs spanning three therapeutic areas (Oncology, Neurology and Rare Diseases) across R&D sites in US and Europe
- Lead toxicity issue management efforts when needed and provide investigative toxicology support to program teams
- Lead the internal adoption of innovative predictive toxicology platforms as well as collaborate with other internal functions (e.g. Digital Biometry) to develop predictive models for early assessment of compound safety profiles
- Identify external providers of innovative in vitro, ex-vivo and small organism (e.g. zebrafish) models and ensure appropriate validation in the context of Ipsen portfolio
- Provide support to external innovation teams by participating in Due Diligence activities
- Write the appropriate sections of regulatory documents as needed
- Remain current with latest developments and advances in Predictive toxicology via active participation in dedicated professional societies and professional network

**Experience / Qualifications**

Doctorate level in Toxicology plus DVM or Pharm D or MD or PhD. Board certification (ABT or ACVP) is a plus.
- Minimum: Doctorate level in Toxicology plus DVM or Pharm D or MD or PhD
