BMAT started in 2005 when a group of engineers with a passion for music decided to spin-off from an audio research lab in Barcelona. We’re now over 160 people, spread across Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Lima, Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Nairobi, Oslo, Tel-Aviv, Singapore, Tokyo, Manila, Bangkok and Lagos.
We’re a team of pretty decent people who enjoy working with each other. We’re open-minded and well-traveled, coming from all parts of the world. We’ve got rappers, producers, cello players, DJs, and songwriters. The passion for music, the excitement for innovative technology and Barcelona as a backdrop has proven to make a good combination.

Job Summary
As the Regional Manager France, Business & Operations, you will be coordinating and working hand in hand with the BMAT France team based in Paris & Barcelona.
You will be in direct contact with BMAT French clients and partners : music publishers, music producers, music libraries, broadcasters, collective rights societies, institutional partners, technology companies.
You’ll be in charge of maintaining great relationships with them, understanding their precise needs and proposing adapted solutions, creating synergies.
**You’ll be handling strategy and sales activities in France**: evangelizing BMAT services and solutions ; finding, meeting and signing new leads ; defining BMAT France strategy step by step and implementing it with the help of BMAT global team. You will be given the tools and support necessary to brainstorm and propose new directions and ideas in terms of activities, solutions, scope of partners, and sales. You will be constantly communicating with the BMAT teams based in Barcelona. You will stay informed of all the technology evolutions and be an operational & strategic link between BMAT France clients, the regional teams, the tech teams, and BMAT executive team, in order to guarantee high product quality in BMAT’s multiple services and develop the business regionally.
You will also be a problem solver, rapidly able to understand technical schema and processes, and to address tech issues and inconsistencies.
You will be working from BMAT’s Paris office (10th arrondissement) and remotely, with total flexibility. Multiple yearly trips to Barcelona and various music & audiovisual business conferences attendances to be expected
What you will be doing
Define and implement regional business strategies with BMAT HQ support
Competitive monitoring & business opportunities monitoring in the territory
Implement a local sales strategy with BMAT Sales team
Ensure an excellent relationship with current network of local and EU clients
Regular direct communication with BMAT clients and partners to identify their needs and suggest adapted solutions
Project management and quality assurance for existing clients and partners
Rapidly understand technical processes and overall schema of existing & recent technical situations and solutions
Ingenious and smart problem solving ability to propose technical solutions to identified issues
Data reports audit and analysis
Coordinate the local regional team and the relationship with BMAT HQ teams
Ability to adapt and handle multiple tasks of very different nature every day

Previous managerial experience is appreciated (3/5 to 10 people teams)
Driven and enthusiastic
Minimum 7/8years experience in the music industry and/or audiovisual industry and/or copyright industry
