Senior Operations Controller in Lyon

In your role as a Senior Operations Controller you will be part of the Billing Team, responsible for Operational support to the Origination business. You'll also support the junior team members and with your skills will help bringing Axpo further to our goals. **What you will do**:

- In charge for all incoming booking and validation requests. Assure it is performed first time right and within the expected time
- Assure invoices are prepared in time and in line with the signed contracts. This involves various activities such as, e.g. collect, standardize, summarize, reconcile data and prepare, create, exchange and coordinate invoices and related annexes
- Act as the main point of contact to investigate and resolve billing disputes and any other request related to the related processes and provide timely resolution
- Deliver operational excellence and adhere to internal processes and directives
- In charge of end to end process of the customers within your portfolio, counterparties and TSO, which includes the complete deal life cycle
- Monitor changes to billing components and incorporate into billing process.
- Contribute to creation and maintenance of documentation of the responsible business.
- Proper and timely use of the ticketing tools provided for the responsible business.

**What you bring & who you are**:

- You have a higher education in accounting, finance, economics, business or equivalent (university/university of applied sciences)
- You have 3-5 years relevant industry experience in energy trading and sales
- You have a good knowledge of energy and financial products and a good understanding of how Gas and Power markets work across FR/BE/NL geographical area
- You have the ability to deal with complex business processes and data management
- You have good organizational and prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- You are a team player
- You are fluent in English, other European languages are a plus
