Research Technician in Metallography

Vous réaliserez les expertises métallographiques dans le cadre d'appuis techniques aux services clients, qualité et production des usines, ainsi que pour les projets de recherche liés aux procédés de fabrication d'ArcelorMittal Long Products (élaboration, coulée continue, laminage, mise en forme à chaud ou à froid, caractérisation des produits). Les usines clientes de ces expertises sont réparties dans le monde entier.
Vous aurez des interactions fortes avec ses collègues, en tant que demandeur d'essais ou fournisseur de prestations. Vous pourrez également être sollicité par les autres équipes du centre de recherche pour ses compétences (métallographie, défectologie, génèse des défauts) et participerez à la résolution technique des problèmes des usines.
Vous serez occasionnellement amené(e) à vous déplacer pour de courtes durées, dans le cadre d'échanges techniques ou d'essais en usine, en France comme à l'étranger.
Vous réaliserez des présentations techniques, rédigerez des rapports d'expertise, des notes techniques simples. Dans ce contexte la pratique de l'anglais est nécessaire.
**Votre profil**
- Vous avez une formation en tant que Technicien / Technicienne en matériaux / métallurgie / traitement thermique / mesures physiques / soudage / génie des procédés...
- Vous avez une expérience en laboratoire dans le domaine des méthodes d'investigation, microscopie optique ou à balayage
- Idéalement, vous avez une expérience complémentaire dans le domaine de la coulée continue et/ou du laminage
- Vous maitrisez le français et l'anglais
- Maitrise des outils Microsoft (Excel, Word, Ppt)
Sens de l'observation et de l'organisation, curiosité, esprit d'analyse et rigueur sont des qualités fondamentales. Une bonne maîtrise de la rédaction de rapports est essentielle (qualités rédactionnelles, clarté, pédagogie).
L'emploi pourra évoluer vers la prise en charge en autonomie d'études plus complexes, mettant en jeu un ensemble de processus industriels, la participation active dans des groupes de travail, la participation active à des groupes de projets.
