Water Consumption Reduction Project Manager

BWS are seeking a Project Manager to support a major energy client in delivering two key water consumption reduction projects at an operational power plant.

This 6-month assignment will begin during the EPC contractor consultation phase and requires strong technical and coordination skills, particularly within water treatment and industrial project environments.

**Project Overview**:
You will lead and coordinate two interdependent projects:

- Project 1: Construction of a temporary storage system for on-site produced decarbonated water.
- Project 2: Integration of a recycling system for cooling tower blowdown water using ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.

Both projects must be delivered in line with the facility’s existing operational constraints.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead technical and commercial bid evaluations during EPC contractor selection.
- Respond to contractor technical inquiries and provide clarifications.
- Provide client-side project management support.
- Monitor project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage and coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and track budgets and oversee financial control.
- Review and validate all project and execution documentation.
- Ensure strict QHSE compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage work completion, handover, and resolution of outstanding items.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Degree-qualified Engineer in Hydraulics or a related field.
- Proven experience in project and construction coordination, ideally within energy or process industries.
- Strong expertise in water treatment systems (e.g., ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis).
- Advanced user of project management tools.
- Strong capability in reviewing and analyzing technical/commercial bids.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in French required; English is a plus.
- Must have the right to work in the EU.
