As the Design Lead for Tocco, you'll be at the helm of our spirited design team, guiding them as they craft captivating design solutions that seamlessly blend with our company's sustainability values. Your role is pivotal to our success, as you'll be the visionary force ensuring our brand and products are not only visually alluring but also deeply engaging for our target audience.

Tasks

As the Design Lead at our company, get ready to be the driving force behind our vibrant design team, offering guidance and mentorship that propels their effectiveness and efficiency to new heights. Take the reins as you:

- Lead and empower our design team, fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere that nurtures growth and creativity.
- Masterfully craft and implement design solutions for an array of projects, spanning digital and print marketing materials, product packaging, and cutting-edge website design.
- Seamlessly collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend design requirements and bring to life design concepts that perfectly harmonize with our company's sustainability values.
- Conduct insightful user research and usability testing to inform design decisions, ensuring our creations resonate with user needs and expectations.
- Develop and uphold top-notch design standards and guidelines that strengthen and elevate our company's brand identity.
- Efficiently manage and maintain design files and assets for seamless use across diverse platforms.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design or UX/UI design, ideally gained within a fast-paced startup or lean environment.
- Stellar leadership and management abilities, with a proven track record of guiding and nurturing a high-performing design team.
- Exceptional expertise in graphic design or UX/UI design, backed by a strong command of design software and tools that set the bar for industry standards.
- A keen eye for detail, ensuring all design work is polished, accurate, and consistent with the company's visual identity.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas clearly to stakeholders and team members.
- A collaborative spirit, fostering a positive and inclusive team environment that encourages open communication, idea-sharing, and constructive feedback.
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for your work and the work of your team, with the ability to take and give constructive criticism gracefully.
- Ideally based in Paris or eager to relocate, but we're also committed to building a remote-first team, ensuring we offset our carbon footprint after our regular in-person team gatherings.
