Group Modern Workplace Director

Job purpose

He/she carries the vision for its services and products; and their evolution in a context of hybrid work, promotes best in class and cost-effective digital solutions with the overall goal of putting employee’s experience and productivity at the core.

He/she pilots the team and its operational results, while optimizing the creation of value. You promote and contribute to the strategic IT agenda and IT transformation.

Main roles and responsibilities

EXPERTISE & STRATEGIC VISION
- Responsible for Modern workplace vision and its translation into roadmap covering all 3 dimensions of user, space (physical and virtual) and technology.
- Work with Regional Service Delivery team to execute communication and coaching strategy, working transversally to all 3 regions
- Identifies, evaluate and propose new and emerging technologies that can be assimilated by the organization to improve modern workplace efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promotes IT standards across organization and contribute TO Pernod Ricard strategy, recommendations, design and implementation in IT environment to meet current and future business needs
- Defines product and platforms, and their delivery model in order to determine the production of value
- Managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets of Modern workplace, incl licensing

DELIVERY, PROCESS & PROJECT
- Technology watch by looking actively the latest solutions and best practices on the market
- Responsible for technical engineering of modern workplace by providing advice, assistance, information and training
- Enforce strong cyber security enforcement while ensuring best user experience.
- Managing modern workplace projects build and operations
- Developing and implementing workspace policies and procedures for the end user experience
- Ensuring appropriate hardware/software specifications standards are maintained and met
- Project follow up, reporting and coordination with other teams
- Responsible for the vendor operational management and contract management to ensure the service quality alignment with the service level agreement
- Responsible for the continuous improvement plan for modern workplace services improvement

End user support & User satisfaction management
- Responsible for Digital Workstation administration and its delivery (patching, master definition and distribution, global device catalogue,)
- Responsible for the maintenance and evolution of the O365 collaboration suite for all users
- Contributing to the formal reporting of IT’s performance to customer user base
- Defining and managing the service and product catalog of modern workplace
- Preparing regular end user satisfaction survey and analyzing results to identify the improvement points
- Launching and following up action plan for user satisfaction improvement

TEAM MANAGEMENT
- Recruiting, developing and motivating a solid and globally distributed team of Modern workplace
- Providing leadership to a community of key/end user specialists, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities and KPIs
- Actively working with peers and senior management to build and maintain strong, productive working relationships
- Continuously review, adjust and train teams to ensure their capabilities remain current and relevant to the underlying infrastructures and services
- Co-lead and develop an inclusive, diverse and innovative IT Ops organisation

Profile required

Education required:

- Computer related qualification (Degree, HND) and/or minimum 12+ years business experience in a FMCG environment

Experience / Background:

- Good experience of project management (minimum of 5 years)
- Experience of structured techniques and methodologies a distinct advantage
- Enthusiastic and able to promote IT function to the business
- Customer focused and able to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues
- Understanding of IT concepts with strong technical or functional experience in areas such as Collaboration and communication solutions, engineering large scale deployment and adoption, device management and distribution, smart office capabilities
- Strong analytical skills required, data driven mindset
- First class communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven record of team management
- Capacity to co-ordinate projects across business units
- Ability to deliver IT solutions to corporate business strategy
- Proven record of third-party management, such as Microsoft enterprise agreement deal and support
- Assertive, proactive, motivational
- Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
- Ability to manage different delivery models, including agile framework
