**Job Description**_Based in the New York City, United States (no remote) - Initial 3-month training in Paris_**
**_Talan can sponsor French, Canadian, Mexican, and Australian citizens for a U.S. work permit_**

**Role and responsibilities**
- Provide hands-on technical and functional support for FX and Derivatives trading platforms, including algorithmic trading tools and order routing systems.
- Monitor platform stability and performance, ensuring high availability, low latency, and reliable connectivity to markets
- Act as the first point of contact for incidents, resolving production issues and coordinating with traders, developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
- Support client FIX connectivity, OMS/EMS workflows, and post-trade STP processes.
- Work closely with engineering teams to drive system improvements, enhance platform resilience, and optimize functional capabilities.
- Participate in change management activities, including planning, documentation, and coordination of production updates.

**Qualifications** Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Quantitative Finance.
- Minimum **2.5 years of post-graduate experience** in the financial industry.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, especially **FX and Derivatives**.
- Experience with **FIX protocol**, **Linux**, scripting (e.g., Bash/Python), and network protocols.
- Knowledge of algorithmic trading, pricing engines, and market connectivity.
- Familiarity with OMS/EMS platforms, STP flows, and post-trade environments.
- Strong understanding of incident/problem resolution, release management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset.
- Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment.
- ** Willingness to complete training in Paris and relocate to New York City.**
