**ABOUT GENERATOR PARIS**

**NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB**
- Management of the Meetings & Events operation, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service
- Work with GM/HQ to evolve and expand the events offering to both internal and external guests ensuring all efforts are on-brand and revenue driving
- Be responsible for leading, developing and implementing a regular programme of creative, revenue-driving events and initiatives within the hostel
- Plan events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
- Ensure all costs are controlled without compromising standards and service delivery
- Take ownership of the events and initiatives to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience
- Identify and work with local and international brands on event-led local marketing campaigns
- Drive the private hire proposition and look to monetise social spaces within the property
- Make sure that insurance, legal, health and safety obligations are followed
- Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events
- Drive local partnerships with suppliers and brands, always with a focus to support the local community
- Responsible for knowing what our competition is up to and find ways that we can uniquely position ourselves in a very competitive scene
- Ensure the atmosphere of the property is always on point through lighting, sound, music, visual and ambience
- Manage the event budget together with the General Manager

- You must be eligible to work in France

**YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE**
- Proven experience as Meeting & Events Manager
- Previous project management experience
- Be commercially driven, sales focused and creative-minded
- Have experience in generating new business and building upon existing relationships with local and European labels, promoters, and event organisers
