About the Role
Are you a highly motivated IT support professional with a passion for providing excellent service in a global organization? We’re looking for an experienced Second-Level IT Technician to join our Support Services Delivery team in Paris, France. In this critical role, you will resolve PC/Mac issues, support collaboration technologies, and help drive innovation and efficiency across Yum Brands locations.
You’ll be the face of IT for end users across the region, supporting a wide variety of technologies and collaborating with a global IT team. This position requires fluency in both French and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-person and remote support for PC and Mac computers, including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Modify system-level files such as Windows registry entries and macOS PLIST files.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with users and colleagues to ensure a positive support experience.
- Support and maintain video conferencing technologies (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
- Accurately document and resolve incidents and tasks via ServiceNow, escalating when necessary.
- Participate in cross-team collaboration to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain documentation of procedures and assist in testing new tools and systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing technical support in a professional setting.
- Proven experience supporting: Windows and macOS environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and standard office peripherals, iOS, Android, and Windows-based mobile devices.
- Basic networking knowledge (e.g., DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, VPN).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (approx. 13.5 kg) and work flexible hours, including participation in an on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an international or multilingual environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and ServiceNow ticketing system.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified, ITIL Foundation).
- Experience in testing and rolling out new hardware/software in a corporate setting.
