We are excited to meet you and for you to join us in shaping the future of the logistics industry in Europe._** **ABOUT THE ROLE** As a Team Lead Accountant, you'll work on interesting responsibilities like overseeing the daily and monthly accounting activities, supporting the newly implemented ERP improvement and preparing reports for the head office. You'll be collaborating closely with the central and local finance teams and contribute to the overall improvement of accounting processes and internal controls. **IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL** - Report to the Head of Finance - France - Lead a team of 2 Accountants - Oversee and ensure accuracy of the daily accounting activities (outgoing and incoming invoices, fixed assets, book-keeping, bank reconciliation) - Prepare the month-end closing report (revenue and cost accruals, intercompany reconciliation, payroll postings, account reconciliations) in close collaboration with the Germany team and prepare the variance analysis - Supervise and ensure compliance of the monthly and annual tax return submission to French Authorities - Participate to the budget and forecast processes - Works closely with our finance system technology team to ensure improvement of our ERP NetSuite and compliance with French accounting requirements - Assist with external audit requests / internal information requests - Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes **PREFERABLY YOU HAVE** - Vast work experience from an accounting firm or within the accounting department of a medium to large company - Full professional capacity in both French and English languages - Relevant team leading experience - A DCG or DSCG degree or equivalent is a plus + experience in accounting or audit firm - Great accounting knowledge (French GAAP) - Understanding of French social security and tax framework - Good reconciliation skills using excel and accounting systems - Comfortable working with large volumes of data - Experience with ERP systems (Netsuite would be a plus) - Good understanding of internal accounting processes - Ability to work under mínimal supervision - Proactive and have self-responsible work style - A great communicator **ABOUT sennder** sennder is moving trucks with the power of data to unlock endless and sustainable capacity at unparalleled quality.
