- Development of new businesses such as LNG or Biofuels, requesting strong governance
- The financial controller will work closely with the finance teams in Singapore and Paris and as well with all the commercial teams (Paris, Geneva and Singapore)
**Activities**:
- Serves as primary finance partner and controller to the business. Point of contact to liaise with HQ Management Control
- Collaborate with Accounting, Commercial and Middle Office teams on reporting of business profitability
- Collaborate with Finance Manager relating to accounting, statutory, audit and other tax-related matters.
- Prepare and publish performance reports for TotalEnergies Marine Fuels
- Flash results for direct management (price and volume effects, GMVC, fixed costs and NOI)
- Marine Fules Worldwide (LMM) results
- Working Capital Requirements (WCR) with respect to inventory, payables and receivables
- Costs analysis and reporting to assist management stewardship of operating expenses
- Present financial KPIs during company meetings, as and when required
**Budget, Forecast & Long-Term Plan (LTP)**:
- Lead, coordinate and build LTP forecast based on assumptions from strategy and commercial managers
- Review resonableness of commercial inputs (products, regions, profitability, and costs) in alignment with overall strategy
- Support management on presentation slides covering financial and commercial decisions for top management's review
**Hedging**:
- Perform profitability, strategy, and risk assessment of derivative instruments executed by the commercial teams
- Review open, settlement and unwinding paper positions for accounting and reporting purposes
**Accounting, Audit, Tax, Systems and Compliance**:
- Ensure reasonableness between Medissys (internal trading software) & SAP (accounting software)
- Handle queries from external auditors on business performance
- Collaborate with Finance Manager on the Global Trader's Program (GTP) submissions to authorities
- At least 5 years of experience in controlling or Finance
- Good understanding of IT tools (SAP; knowledge of Medissys is an asset).
- Strong knowledge of Finance concepts and hedging
- Highly analytical and meticulous, with good organization skills
- Team player, mature, independent, pro-active and takes the initiative
- Ability to adapt to foreign cultures and multi-international oriented mind
